Joel Godby
Joel has been working with clients to help pursue their retirement and financial goals since 1999. He has a passion for helping clients work toward the goal of building sustainable income in retirement. As an Independent Financial Advisor, Joel has access to a wide range of financial services and strategies through independent research to help ensure each client’s wealth is strategically managed and preserved. Prior to joining Keystone, Joel spent six years at Edward Jones and eleven years with LPL through Traditional Bank.
Joel lives in Mt Sterling with his wife, Leslie, and their two daughters, Kayla and Janna. He is a member of the Mt Sterling Kiwanis club and is an Elder at First Christian Church in Mt Sterling. Joel is a graduate of Georgetown College with a degree in Marketing & Finance. He enjoys golf, snow skiing and traveling with family.
John E. Morton
John is a financial advisor who works diligently with his clients and friends to reduce the anxiety regarding finances. He has a comprehensive approach to personal finances and offers holistic personalized financial guidance to help clients on their journey regardless of the size of their bank account. John’s goal every day is to do what is right, show people he cares and strive to be the best advisor possible.
John is a native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and a graduate of Wofford College. He holds Securities Series 7, and 63 registrations through LPL Financial and 65 registration through Keystone Financial Group as well as his Life and Health insurance licenses.
John lives in Mt. Sterling with his wife Rebecca and two children, Anna Grace and Brick. They attend First Christian Church and are very active in the community. John serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors, the local United Way Board of Directors and is a regular volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. The Morton family enjoys all things outdoors including swimming, hiking and spending time with family.
Genean Martin
Genean is a native of Mount Sterling, a graduate of Maysville Community and Technical College and John Hobson Ministries Bible Training Center. She has two kids Emily Grace and Rex II. She is a member of Cathedral of Glory Church and serves in the music ministry, as well as in the administrative support for John Hobson Ministries Bible Training Center. She is a member of the Sterling Rebekah's #82 and the Mt. Sterling Kiwanis Club. She has previously served on the Montgomery County Leadership Board, and on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Genean enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and she loves to travel.
Leslie Godby
Leslie graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She is an active member of First Christian Church, Mt Sterling, and serves as a deacon and on the personnel committee. Leslie also serves on the development committee for Gateway Children’s Services. Leslie has been married to Joel since 1993 and they have 2 daughters (Kayla and Janna) and 2 grandchildren (Mira and Wilder). Leslie enjoys reading, hiking, traveling with family, and playing with her grandkids.
